Derek's passion for guiding began early, inspired by Ireland’s magnificent landscapes and a deep rooted family love for this country. Over the past two decades, he has earned multiple national awards for his commitment to quality, comfort, and authentic Irish experiences.
Derek has spent decades exploring the island’s hidden corners, from the dramatic cliffs off the Atlantic coast to the quiet charm of its countryside villages. His deep knowledge of Irish history, folklore, and culture transforms every drive into a story and every stop into a memory. The Story Behind the Name "Evergreen" Private Tours
The name "Evergreen" is a tribute to my father, who grew up on Evergreen Street. He taught me that while Ireland’s scenery is majestic, our true magic lies in the people. To him, a journey was measured not in miles, but in the friends you make along the way.
Since saying goodbye to my father in May 2025, his spirit remains my North Star. Carrying forward his tradition of a warm welcome is a promise I keep to him, and to every guest.
